Are you 24 or younger, queer-identified, and living in Connecticut? Queer and Active is for you! We are a group of young people who believe adults have spoken for us for too long. We are more than suicide statistics and children to be saved. We are fierce, independent, outspoken, empowered individuals who know what we need and want. We are speaking for ourselves!

Queer and Active is a grassroots organization, made up of young people from different racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds who believe that we need to be active, vocal members in our communities. We align ourselves with other like-minded people who believe in social justice and equality for all, including those who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender, and those who question their sexual or gender identity.

Q&A exists to add a strong youth voice to the dialogue that is shaping our future. We aim to empower ourselves by working with those who influence our lives, and by offering a youth perspective on current issues. Q&A works through political, educational, social, and personal arenas to ensure that the voices of queer youth are heard.
